Parent Help Sheet
Working Together with our Parents/ Carers
At Castlefort, we appreciate that children’s education takes place at school and at home. We greatly value all contributions made by parents/carers and encourage you to work with your children at home whenever you can. Parents/carers are encouraged to talk to teachers about their children’s progress. We just ask that this takes place outside teaching time as this should be kept solely for children’s learning. If you would like to make an appointment to see a member of staff, please pop in at the end of a school day, or telephone the office.
Parents/carers and children are expected to sign up to our Home/School Agreement. We also encourage parent volunteers to support and help out in school. This could involve listening to pupils as they read, preparing work for classroom displays or making teaching and learning resources. We truly appreciate your help!
